Childrens story Title of Book : The Butterfly Lion Author : Michael Morpurgo Genre: Main Characters: Bertie,Millie and the white prince Setting: Timbavatie in Afrika,England and france Summery : There was a boy he was born in Africa and he had a lion. The mom and dad sent him to bording school in England.Then the lion got sent to a circus. Then he went to the army and then fought in world war 2 . The he went to France and found the circus and found the lion. He saved the lion and took him back to England. The lion lived with him until he died. Lesson from book: My lesson from the book is that you can never sepperait from your best friend. My feelings about the book: I feel happy about the book because 2 people live there lives with eachother until they die.

Our visit to the Sinai Academy

Last week we visited the Sinai Academy in Bloubergrant. It was very interesting. The rams horn was very loud.  The boys wore these round hats. The bread was so yummy. The kids were so cute. I learnt a lot. When we got there we went to the synagogue the girls were separated from the boys. Then the rabbi told us all about the religions. Then we went to a classroom and they told us about what they do on a Friday sunset. Then we went back to school. \

The Grade 4 Camp

 last week we went to Camp Simonsberg. First we went to Giraffe House it did stink. But I loved the lamas they are so funny. Then we went to camp I enjoyed swimming. I didn't enjoy the rafting I couldn't breath in the life jacket. I loved the bonfire it was nice because we got to braai marshmallows. I was very tired when we got back.
